Jingle all the way to Fogarty Park in Cairns for Carols by Candlelight on Sunday 10 December.
Bring your own picnic rug or chair and be prepared to sing along to a variety of Christmas carols, including some old favourites and some newer ones. The carols are beautifully performed by vocal groups, dance schools and soloists, culminating with a fireworks finale.
The evening doubles as the major fundraiser for the Mayor's Christmas Cheer Appeal. Proceeds from the sale of merchandise goes towards the distribution of food hampers to around 700 local families who might otherwise go without on Christmas Day.
The event kicks off at 5.30pm and is BYO.
- BYO picnic or otherwise food and drink will be available for purchase
- No alcohol is permitted

- Entertainment starts from 5:30pm
- Fireworks display is at 8:30pm
