This year Cairns is joining Queensland Multicultural Month, the state’s largest multicultural celebration. The event provides an opportunity to come together to embrace our common values through performance, traditions, food, music, sport and knowledge.
Coinciding with the month long celebration is the annual Grand Parade and Fireworks. Enjoy live entertainment all afternoon from 3pm followed by the Grand Parade at 5:30pm which boasts a colourful spectacle of performers and floats, with the fireworks at 7:30pm. This takes place on Cairns Esplanade on August 26th 2017 and is FREE to attend.
